Pray this Prayer: Part 3
The last two “from the heart” segments have included prayers from scripture that I challenged you to memorize because we all want to be better at prayer. So today I’ve added a third one for you to pray. Look back at the last two weeks if you missed them. Carry each one with you and memorize it. We all need more understanding of the will of God for our lives instead of wandering from one bad decision to another.
Pray this prayer daily for a spirit of wisdom and understanding in the perfect will and purpose of God: God has such a perfect plan for your life. You won’t discover it by accident.
Colossians 1:9–12 (NASB95) For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
Pray this prayer daily and watch your decisions and directions become amazingly fruitful and pleasing to God!
