Worship is
Louie Giglio says this about worship: “Worship is our response, both personal and corporate, to God for who He is and what He has done; expressed by the things we say and the way we live.
Sometimes we have the belief that worship is only something that we do at church when we are all singing songs together. And I do love that, it is one of my favorite parts of the week, but worship is so much more than even the hour we spend together. It is the whole of our lives offered to God. Our lives are worship. So we have these two aspects. Our response to God for who He is and for what He has done both for us specifically but also what He has done in creation generally. And then our lives are also worship by what we do and say.
Colossians 3:17 (NIV) And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Lord, may we be your song, sung to the world in such a way that the Name of Jesus is glorified.
