PLAN YOUR VISIT

to Life Community Church

WHAT TO EXPECT.

Our desire at LCC is for you to feel right home from the minute you walk in the door, whether it's your first time there or your 100th. And if you haven't been to church in a long time or never, here's a little bit of what to expect.

COMMUNITY
COMMUNITY

With coffee & donuts, you’ll find most people come early to fellowship and enjoy the community at LCC.

WORSHIP & MESSAGE
WORSHIP & MESSAGE

Each service starts out with our contemporary worship from LCC Worship, our worship team. You’ll hear a life applicable and challenging message based on the Bible from our engaging and down to earth pastors.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

We love kids. We know they are the future and we treat them that way. Although the break from the kiddos can be nice, we don’t babysit. LifeCrew Volunteers are pouring love on your kiddos and teaching them through fun and interactive ways about Christ and his love.

KID'S CHECK-IN

CURIOUS ABOUT HOW SUNDAYS WORK?

FIRST TIME

Parents are encouraged to check their children in at the Welcome Center in the foyer approximately 15 minutes before each service. You will fill out a quick form on the iPad. By filling out a quick form on the iPad at Assisted Check-In, we will add your child and you to our database and register them to their age-appropriate classroom. From then on, you can easily check-in your child at the Kids’ Self Check-In.

Next time, check-in will be an easy look up process and your child will be on their way. The safety and security of your child is of upmost importance and is why we utilize this system and run background checks on all children’s workers and volunteers.

PARENT TAG

Your parent tag and child’s name tag will have matching, unique ID numbers to ensure safety during pick-up. Please keep your phone on vibrate if for any reason we need to contact you during service.

PICK UP

When you are ready to pick up your child, go to your child’s classroom and present your Parent Tag to the Leader. The Parent Tag will be used to match the number on your child’s name tag.

NEXT TIME

On your second visit, our Self Check-In Kiosks are easy-to-use. Simply type in the phone number you provided during your first visit and follow the prompts to complete the process.

WANT TO MAKE CHECKING IN YOUR KIDS A BREEZE?

Let us know you're coming by filling out this form and pre-registering your family. It will save you time by filling it out here and make checking in your kiddos on Sunday simple.

MEET OUR SENIOR PASTOR.

RANDY HUETT

If you ask most people what they like about our pastor they will say, ”authenticity”. Which is to say, he is spiritual without being religious and there is a difference. He is consistent and is the same when he is up front teaching and when he is not. That does get him into a little hot water some times, but it seems to be one of the characteristics of his personality that people usually like. Just a regular guy, called of God to be a pastor and a teacher. If you are looking for a smoothly run church machine, this will probably not be your cup of tea. But, if you are looking for real people who are trying to learn how to love and live for God and to love each other, then you’ll probably fit right in here.

FAQs

Have a question? We've got answers. We want to make visiting easy as possible. Read through below and take away the worry of trying a new church.

Is there any difference between the 9:30am & 11am service?

No, the Sunday services are two identical contemporary services (well, as close as we can get them!) Choose the time the best fits your schedule, because it’s the same great service, twice! The same goes for LifeKids, our children’s ministry.

Do you have an online service?

We are Live online on Facebook & YouTube at 9:30am & 11am.

What are your weekend services like?

We consider all of our weekend services to be casual and relaxed. Our services last one hour and we try really hard to stick to that schedule. The beginning of the service is a time of worship with songs played by our worship team, which usually last about 15-20 minutes, the second half of the service usually starts out with prayer before the sermon. Randy is both engaging, funny and an interactive speakers that will push you to find and follow Christ. Be sure to get there a little before the service and join us for coffee and donuts. We would love for you to be our guest this weekend.

What about my children?

Your child will experience…

TODDLER TOWN.

* Nursery: 6 weeks to crawlers |
* Little Toddlers: 18 – 2 year olds & Big Toddlers: 3  year olds | your child will experience an age-focused service where they will sing worship songs and will learn values through creative and interactive Bible stories.
* 4-kindergarten | is our big kids class who are growing up fast. The class play time is a great way to teach them the blessings God gives us with toys and friendship, and that everything, even toys, belong to God. They practice sharing, being kind, and listening.

KID CITY.

Our KidCity ministry (1st – 6th grade) is one of our most exciting experiences each week. We believe in reaching kids right where they are. That’s why we strive to create an atmosphere filled with fun, laughter and the presence of God. Our programs are designed to attract the hearts of children in such a way that they truly want to come back each week to meet with God and learn about Him in creative ways. Our commitment to parents is to providing a safe and nurturing environment, allowing us to teach children to love Jesus and follow Him throughout their lives.

CHECK IN.

Parents/Gaurdian can check their children (6 weeks-sixth grade) in at the kid’s check-in kiosk located in the foyer approximately 15 minutes before each service. You simply fill out an information card for your entire family and you will be given a pick-up ticket for all of your children. Each child will receive a name tag with a unique number that matches the pick up ticket. In case your child needs your immediate attention, the teacher will contact you through text messaging.

If you are more comfortable with keeping your children with you for the entire service you are welcomed to do so.

For more information, visit here.

I have older kids, where will they go?

Youth in 7th-12th grade join us in the service.  We have a MIDWEEK service on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. For more info, visit here

What should I wear?

At Life Community Church we aren’t so worried about what you wear, we are just happy to see you there. So feel free to wear what is comfortable to you, whether that means wearing slacks and a button up or a comfy pair of jean and tennis shoes. You’ll see all styles of dress represented on any given Sunday, however, we do like to keep it casual.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything or be singled out in any way?

You won’t be put on the spot.

* You won’t have to wear a name badge or be singled out in any way.

* You don’t even have to sing along if you don’t feel comfortable.

* You’re not expected to give.

We have a Connect Card available in the service to fill out in case you have questions, need prayer or are interested in any of our events or resources. This card is only used to help us serve you better and keep you informed of church-wide events and activities. You will not be spammed.

How can I listen to your sermons?

You can listen on Apple Podcast or Spotify.

Do you have midweek services?

Our full corporate gatherings happen on Sundays, but during the week our church body meets in smaller groups across the city that we call LifeGroups. For more information on LifeGroups, visit here.

What denomination is your church?

Life Community Church is non-denominational church. We want to be a church that seeks after the heart of God and pleases Christ in our actions and choices as a body of Christ.

How can I join LCC?

We think being fully informed about a church and their beliefs is really important to know before you join. We offer Discover Life, our membership class, which is part of our growth track, that is held on the once a quarter at 11am in the Elm room. By participating, you will get informed and learn about Life Community Church, what we believe and why. For more information, visit here.
