OUR MISSION.

Our mission is to work with God and His mission of loving the world to redemption and discipling the redeemed to maturity.
WE BELIEVE.

We believe that there is one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to man and that it is verbally inspired, authoritative, and without error in the original manuscripts.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory.
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of the new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, enabling them to live a godly life, and He empowers and gives gifts to every believer for service in the body of Christ and to the world.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin was alienated from God. That alienation can be removed only by accepting through faith alone God’s gift of salvation, which was made possible by Christ’s death.

GRACE.

Grace should permeate all we do, free of manipulation, hype legalism or judgmentalism. The good news is that the work of Christ on the cross is complete, and I can’t add anything to it by my works or performance. Jesus did it all! We will motivate people to give, serve and live the Christian life with love for Christ and appreciation of what He has done for us. A relationship with Christ not based on rules.

RELEVANT.

We emphasize the practical and positive solutions, from God’s Word, for life’s common problems. To get beyond head knowledge to actual experiences of fellowship and servanthood where they can apply the principles in real life. To disciple our children, youth and adults to grow in basic Bible knowledge and prepare them for a life of service. To be spiritual but not bound by religious tradition. To have an atmosphere that values creativity, innovation and cultural sensitivity and where we are free to try new methods.

AUTHENTIC.

We are more concerned about what is on the inside of a person than what is on outside. A place where we can be real with ourselves and others and find hope and healing for the brokenness in our lives.

CASUAL.

Where you don’t have to dress a certain way to fit in. We take God seriously, but don’t take ourselves too seriously. Free to laugh and enjoy life as only followers of Christ can.

EQUIPPING.

Every member of the body of Christ needs to be trained and equipped to discover and fully utilize their spiritual gifts and talents. Living the adventure of grace is about fulfilling Christ’s calling in your life to make a significant impact on your world in ministry and mission.

our core values.

GOD SAVED YOU BY HIS GRACE WHEN YOU BELIEVED. AND YOU CAN’T TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS; IT IS A GIFT FROM GOD. SALVATION IS NOT A REWARD FOR THE GOOD THINGS WE HAVE DONE, SO NONE OF US CAN BOAST ABOUT IT. FOR WE ARE GOD’S MASTERPIECE. HE HAS CREATED US ANEW IN CHRIST JESUS, SO WE CAN DO THE GOOD THINGS HE PLANNED FOR US LONG AGO.

Ephesians 2:8-10

RANDY HUETT

Pastor

Family.

I met my wife Tina at bible school. She was playing double tennis and I ran by and they needed another player. I hadn’t played much tennis, so when I hit the ball I hit it on the handle and hit a line drive line into her eye. I jumped the net, (yes, it was a long time ago)  and ran to say I was sorry. I have been saying Im sorry for 43 years now, just about caught up.  Today, we have three  adult  children and three grandchildren.

What might people find surprising about you?

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Live like eternity matters.

Faithfulness is more important than talent.

LifeGroup Coordinator

Family.

I married Randy back in June of 1976 after I'd finished only three semesters of college. We started our family once we began pastoring here at LCC, with Landon, then Lauren and Logan rounding out the “L Team”. Each of the L’s are now married bringing three more to love and there are two sweet lil grands in the picture, making life as sweet as pie.

What might people find surprising about you?

Most people would be surprised to hear that I grew up on a thoroughbred horse farm in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  My dad was a breeder and employed trainers at our training facility called Porter Farm. Also, my legal name has nothing to do with Tina, but I’ll leave that for another day.

“It’s not necessary to say everything you think”
